Tatiana, this is so incredibly nuanced. I learned so much from this post. I love the way you connected the pandemic's role in radicalizing FBS, the politics of it all, the harvesting of the sacred, and the missing elders...it all weaved together nicely. A few things stood out to me. The point about how the pandemic created the perfect storm for FBS to grow because people were being silenced everywhere else. Of course women flocked there. That context gets lost in all the moral panic. Also, the fact that women's stories built Emilee's empire without any compensation or reciprocity is such a clear example of these culty spaces make extraction and exploitation look like empowerment. We've all seen these patterns play out in high control spaces. One thing I'm curious about..you mentioned the RBK tools focused on the mind rather than the body. What were they actually teaching? There's a gap between the rhetoric (trust your body) and the practice that feels incomplete. This is essential work. Thank you for the care and nuance you brought to it.
